Abusive Head Injury Workshop Sydney, 24-26 February 2017

August10, 2016

Abusive head injury in young children is, unfortunately, a not uncommon presentation that confronts paediatricians, forensic physicians and, in some cases, the forensic pathologist. These can be very challenging cases as the child can rarely provide a history as to how their head injury was sustained.

To assist doctors involved in forensic paediatrics in managing these cases, a one day workshop is being held as part of the Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia conference, Pathology Update 2017, which is being held in Sydney from 24 – 26 February 2017. Full details of the conference are available at: https://www.rcpa.edu.au/Events/Pathology-Update
