6th International FORMAELIV Workshop
The 6th International FORMAELIV workshop in clinical forensic medicine is being organized in 2018 in Montpellier at the Faculty of Historical Medicine and will be about DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. International speakers from different specialties, will present and discuss the management (detection, prevention, diagnosis, treatment and care) of domestic violence in their respective countries (Australia, United Kingdom, France, and Eastern Europe). The clinical as well as psychological and legal aspects will be considered.
Many practical cases will illustrated in order to provide attendees with useful tools for their future practice. We will specially focus during a two day associated workshop on forensic photography as taking pictures during consultations is the exclusive role of the medical staff. Finally, we will also address the socio-economic consequences of domestic violence. Clinical sessions and posters are planned. All professionals dealing with victims of violence (doctors, nurses, psychologist, police officers, and legal advisors) will find these meetings of great value.
